May 9-14 declared Law Enforcement Appreciation Week

The Madison County Board of Supervisors adopted a resolution pro- claiming May 9-14, 2021, as Madison County Law Enforcement Appreciation Week.

Local city and county chambers of commerce, tourism, and economic development organizations collaborate to promote the annual event in conjunction with national law enforcement appreciation week.

Recognizing the importance of safe communities and their impact on economic development and quality of life, the organizations invite the business community, schools, churches, organizations, and individuals to recognize local law enforcement officers for their dedication and commitment to the protection of the citizens of Madison County.
