The Pine Grove Association, Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to building a community, using a futurist lens, in the areas of family mobility, social justice and advocacy, and diversity and inclusion, is thrilled to announce the official launch of a transformative capital campaign aimed at building a cutting-edge multi-use facility, called the H.O.P.E. Center (Health, Opportunity, Prosperity, and Elevation). 

The Kickoff Event will be held Saturday, April 20, 2024, at 10 a.m. on the site, located at the corner of Canal and W. North Street in Canton, MS.  Dr. Mark G. Henderson, Jackson State University Professor and founder of the MADDRAMA Theater Troupe is the guest speaker. The Village Awards, a fundraiser honoring residents will be held that evening at 6 p.m.  Tickets are $65 per person.

The new multi-use facility is designed to serve as a dynamic space that meets the diverse needs of our community. It will feature state-of-the-art amenities and versatile spaces, accommodating various activities, events, and programs. The facility will play a pivotal role in fostering innovation, supporting youth and adults, and strengthening community bonds.

Versatile Spaces: The facility will boast flexible spaces that can be adapted for various purposes, including workshops, performances, exhibitions, and community gatherings.

Innovation Hub: Equipped with cutting-edge technology and resources, the facility will serve as a hub for innovation, providing a conducive environment for youth, adults, the elderly, entrepreneurs, and community leaders to collaborate and thrive.

Community Engagement: Community engagement programs, workshops, and events will be hosted to encourage collaboration and interaction among residents.

Cultural Enrichment: The facility will feature spaces dedicated to cultural events, promoting diversity and celebrating the rich history of our community.
