UMMC Invites Aspiring Physicians to Pre-Med Day

The University of Mississippi Medical Center is inviting college students who are considering a career in medicine to participate in the UMMC School of Medicine Pre-Med Day, beginning at 8:15 a.m. Friday, May 16.

Breakfast will be served at 8:15 a.m., with the program commencing at 9 a.m. in the UMMC School of Medicine.

"Medical School: Understanding the Journey” is a chance to discover first-hand what life is like for medical students.

Students who register for Pre-Med Day will be able to participate in a Q&A panel with current medical students and physicians, while learning how to apply to the School of Medicine. They will also attend a mock medical school lecture and a presentation from the associate dean of admissions.
