Goodloe Elementary School recently held a career fair, giving students the opportunity to learn about a variety of career paths from professionals across multiple industries. The event was organized by school counselor Lindsey Durham.
The career fair featured representatives from several local and state organizations, including the Mississippi Forestry Commission, Mississippi Department of Rehabilitation Services, Canton High NJROTC, Performance Therapy, State Farm, Mississippi Department of Agriculture and Commerce, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), and Region 8 Mental Health Services.
Students were able to engage with presenters, ask questions and explore potential future careers through hands-on activities and informational displays.
School staff and organizers expressed appreciation for the support of the community partners who participated in the event.
