Special to The Canton News

The Madison County Business League & Foundation and the Madison County Community Trust recently sponsored a financial literacy grant for the Canton High School Tiger Tycoons as they prepare to compete in the National Personal Finance Challenge, taking place June 1–2, 2025, in Atlanta, Georgia.

Grant organizers said, “The Tiger Tycoons team—Nelly Cardona-Rosales, Alexandria Luckett, Jalynn Dunigan, and Henser Vicente—represent a group of exceptional students whose hard work and financial literacy skills have earned them this prestigious opportunity. We congratulate these students and wish them the very best as they represent Canton High School and the state of Mississippi on the national stage!”
