Canton Lions Club hosts May meeting with guest speakers

The Canton Lions Club held its regular monthly meeting in May, featuring guest speakers who shared updates and information relevant to the local community.

Lion Daniel Logan presented the program and introduced Nolan Williamson of the Bear Creek Water Association. Williamson spoke to club members about the association’s work and services in the area.

Also at the meeting were Brad Martin with the Gertrude C. Ford MIND Center at the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC) and Lion President Gary Teasley.

The Canton Lions Club is part of Lions Clubs International, a global service organization with a focus on supporting vision care, health initiatives, and community development. The local chapter meets regularly to hear from community leaders, support service projects, and promote civic engagement in Canton and surrounding areas.
