The Mississippi Art Colony, the nation’s oldest artist-run organization, is showcasing its spring 2025 exhibit at the Canton Welcome Center/Alison Wells Center for the Arts, located on the historic Canton Square.
The exhibit, featuring a diverse collection of works by artists from across the region, is open to the public now through June 9.
Gallery hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Admission is free.
Founded in 1948, the Mississippi Art Colony has a long-standing tradition of fostering creativity, collaboration, and the advancement of visual arts. The spring exhibit offers visitors an opportunity to experience a wide range of artistic styles and mediums in a welcoming, community-centered space.
