Canton Elementary Staff Kicks Off School Year with Energy and Generosity for 2025-26

Canton Elementary School staff returned for the first day of the 2025–2026 school year energized and unified, marking the start of the new academic year with the theme “Integrate, Innovate, and Inspire.”

The day also included a generous donation made in memory of the late Dr. Christopher Bennett, a Canton native and founder of Healthy Smiles in Gulfport. His wife, Dr. Kinyatta Bennett, donated book bags for CES students, which were delivered by his mother, Ms. Linda Bennett.

School staff described the day as a strong start to a bright school year.
