Known for its rich cinematic history, Canton is proudly spotlighting its title as the “Film Capital of Mississippi.” Canton Tourism invites visitors to explore its renowned Film Museums, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the iconic productions and sets that helped put the city on the Hollywood map.
From A Time to Kill to O Brother, Where Art Thou?, Canton’s picturesque square and surrounding locations have served as the backdrop for numerous major motion pictures. The Film Museums house memorabilia, photographs, and interactive displays celebrating the town’s contribution to the film industry.
“Canton’s film history is something truly special,” said a Canton Tourism spokesperson. “We love sharing these stories and spaces with guests from around the country.”
