Canton High School (CHS), part of the Canton Public School District, announced its 2025 Homecoming Court with a crowning ceremony that celebrated both tradition and historic achievement. The court was led by Mr. CHS Giancarlo Rosales and Miss CHS Ke’Ambriah Goines. Rosales’s selection marks a milestone for the district, as he is the first Hispanic student to be named Mr. CHS in the school’s history. The achievement coincided with the observation of National Hispanic Heritage Month, which spans September 15 through October 15.
“The entire court represents the diversity and talent within our student body,” a Canton Public School District representative said. “We are especially proud to recognize Giancarlo Rosales and celebrate this historic moment during a time dedicated to honoring the contributions of Hispanic Americans.”
The full Highest Court included Rosales and Goines, with Chrishawn Grant and Arianna Williams serving as the Mr. and Miss CHS First Alternates.
