Canton Career Center recognized outstanding students from its Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs for demonstrating key character traits that support success in school, life and future careers.

August’s trait, responsibility, honored students who consistently showed dependability, accountability, and a strong work ethic, both in and out of the classroom. Recognized were James Worthy, Hector Luna, Ty’zarious Bilbro, Lailan Hamlin, Keiston Fleming, Jada Bass and Traniece Mayfield.

September’s trait, respect, recognized students who stood out for their kindness, professionalism, and positive attitudes toward others. Honorees included Zayla Morris, Demonta Tompkins, Jordan Dixon, Jonathan Gonzalez-Perez, Armani Davis, Larizza Ramirez, Monica Johnson and Kayleigh Slaughter.

Canton Academy commended all its CTE students for continuing to build strong character and leadership skills each month.
