Canton Career Center junior inducted into National Technical Honor Society

Lailan M. Hamlin, a junior at Canton Public School and student at the Canton Career Center, has officially been inducted into the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) Class of 2025.


Hamlin, who represents the NTHS attributes of skill, scholarship, leadership, honesty, responsibility, service and citizenship, is the daughter of Makita Hamlin-Jackson and Eldon Hamlin, both graduates of Canton High School.


Beyond her academic achievements, Hamlin is a freelance artist and young entrepreneur who is currently applying for her Certified Licensed Braider credential. She is passionate about using her creativity and skills to build her future, with plans to become a dental hygienist or a Registered Nurse after high school.
