The Canton News is introducing a new slogan that reflects its continued commitment to local journalism and community connection.

The longtime slogan, “The good news you can use,” is being retired in favor of a new message: “Your Community. Your News. Your Paper.”

The updated motto underscores the newspaper’s role as a trusted source for local reporting, community stories and information that matters most to Canton residents. From City government and schools to churches, businesses and family milestones, The Canton News aims to tell the stories that shape daily life in the heart of our community. 

Our mission has always been to serve the people of Canton. This new motto better reflects who we are and who we serve.

While the words have changed, the mission remains the same: to provide accurate, timely and community-centered journalism.

The new slogan will appear in print and digital editions moving forward.
