The Madison County Business League & Foundation (MCBL&F) Government Affairs Committee hosted its annual Legislative Breakfast on Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2025, at the Embassy Suites in Ridgeland.
The event served as a formal forum to honor the Madison County Legislative delegation and to facilitate dialogue between the business community and state lawmakers ahead of the upcoming session.
During the program, Government Affairs Committee Chair Phil Buffington officially announced the Madison County legislative priorities for 2026. These priorities focus on fostering economic growth, enhancing local infrastructure, and supporting workforce development initiatives throughout the county.
The gathering brought together key stakeholders, including local elected officials and business executives, to discuss the legislative landscape and the impact of state policy on the regional economy.
The MCBL&F serves as the private sector economic development arm for Madison County, representing a diverse membership dedicated to the county’s long-term prosperity.
