CPSD Security Chief named to MASRO Region 5 Board

Canton Public School District Chief of Security Robert Jackson was selected Jan. 23, 2026, as the Region 5 board member of the Mississippi Association of School Resource Officers.

District officials said the appointment reflects Jackson’s leadership, dedication and commitment to school safety. As a board member, Jackson will represent Region 5 and the Canton Public School District while supporting the mission of MASRO across the state.

School leaders congratulated Jackson on the appointment and expressed continued support as he serves in the new role.
