Lady Panthers win championship at Central Hinds Elementary tournament

The Canton Academy Lady Panthers elementary girls’ basketball teams recently competed in the Central Hinds Elementary Tournament, highlighted by a championship win from the sixth-grade team.

The sixth-grade Lady Panthers captured the tournament title with a 16-8 victory over Central Hinds and a 10-9 overtime win against Tri-County.

Sixth graders Landry Burton, Ally Jerome, Kinsley Lynch and Lee Lee Stacey were selected to the All-Tournament team.
