CHS celebrates prom Met Gala Style

Canton High School students celebrated an unforgettable evening at the junior class’s Met Gala Prom 2026, a night marked by laughter, achievement and lasting memories.

Throughout the event, students were recognized for their talents and contributions to the school community. Awards were presented in a variety of categories, highlighting both character and accomplishment.

Prom king and queen honors were awarded to Juantarious Green and Makayla Richardson.

Other award recipients included:
●    Most Likely to Succeed: Henser Vicente and Alexandria Luckett
●    Friendliest: Jaylen Garland and Ta’meriaus Williams
●    Most Spirited: Malachi Porter and Rozylan McDonald
●    Best Comedian: Kenderious Carson and Myunna Ross
●    Best Dancer: Jamarian Worthy and Maryah Dorsey
●    Best Performer: Dakoda Myers and Jalynn Dunigan
●    Most Athletic: Braylen Reaves and Journee Brown
●    Best All-Around: Derrick Huntley and Za’nyriah Prophet
●    Best Dressed: Kaleb Parker and Janyla Williamson

The evening celebrated not only individual achievements but also the strong sense of community among Canton High School students.
