Gilmore wins first at State Chess Tournament

Canton Academy sixth-grader Dylan Gilmore earned first place in the K–6 division at the Mississippi Children’s Museum Spring Chess Tournament.

Gilmore finished the competition undefeated with a 5-0 record, securing the top spot among participants.

School officials praised Gilmore for his achievement and for representing Canton Academy with excellence.
