Special to The Canton News
Children and adults gathered in Canton recently for a hands-on 4-H learning experience focused on gardening and beekeeping.
Participants learned from Mr. and Mrs. Boutwell, who shared their knowledge and expertise in planting, growing, and caring for gardens, as well as the basics of beekeeping and the important role bees play in agriculture and the environment.
The educational event gave attendees an opportunity to engage directly with nature-based skills while gaining a better understanding of sustainability and agricultural practices.
Organizers thanked Cheyenne Stewart Weaver for coordinating the 4-H experience and providing the community with an interactive learning opportunity for all ages.
