Two Canton Career Center students will represent Mississippi at the HOSA International Leadership Conference in Indiana after earning top honors at the state level.
Za’Leah Prophet and Katelyn Small qualified for the international competition through their outstanding performances in Health Science events and will compete against students from across the United States and around the world.
The students were recognized for their hard work, dedication and commitment to excellence. School officials also credited Health Science instructor Shirley Jones, the program’s HOSA sponsor, for her leadership and guidance in preparing students for competition.
