Canton Academy senior Porter Dancy recently completed the Rankin-Madison Future Lawyers Law Camp, gaining hands-on experience and insight into the legal profession.
During the camp, Dancy observed proceedings in both Chancery Court and Circuit Court, participated in mock trials and learned from judges, attorneys and court clerks about the many aspects of practicing law.
The experience provided Dancy with a firsthand look at the judicial system and strengthened his interest in pursuing a future career in law.
Canton Academy representatives say they congratulate Dancy on this achievement and applaud his dedication to exploring opportunities that will help shape his future.
