As a child growing up, I always love to read short stories. I love stories fiction or non-fiction. While reading and imagining about any and everything I knew that one day I did not have to imagine anymore and I can make my thoughts a reality.
One of my favorite stories are found in Greek Mythology. My favorite Hero is Heracles because he became immortal. Heracles journey is very interesting. I like the way he presented himself to the world.
Next, of all time I cherish Aphrodite because she is the Goddess of Love and Beauty. I can relate to Aphrodite because we have similar characteristics. She stands out in my mind because of her grace.
Finally, if you have not read Greek Mythology give it try because you can see yourself as a hero or heroine. One book I picked up from the library titled “Treasury of Greek Mythology Classic Stories of Gods, Goddesses, Heroes and Monsters” by Donna Jo Napoli and Illustrations by Christina Balit.
