Students in the Canton Career Center’s Automotive Services class are gaining hands-on experience as they prepare for careers in the automotive industry.
As part of the program, students wear professional work attire, including coveralls and appropriate safety gear, while learning the skills and procedures used in real-world automotive settings.
Students conduct thorough pre-inspections of vehicles, checking brake systems, electrical components and engine conditions. The hands-on training gives students practical experience with vehicle maintenance and allows them to develop confidence and precision in their work.
Dressed in their new jumpsuits and safety gear, the students are gaining valuable career-ready skills while preparing for the demands of the automotive industry.
