Rev. David Lowery retires after 32 years of ministry

After 32 years of serving as a Methodist pastor, the Rev. David Lowery is retiring.Lowery has served as pastor of First Methodist Church and Thornton Chapel in Canton for the past 11 years. During his time in the community, he has been involved in numerous local ministries and has enjoyed serving alongside members of the Canton Christian community.Lowery and his wife, Joy, are moving to their new home in Covington County, outside of Collins.
