Special to The Canton News
Canton Academy K4 students recently learned about community helpers and received a special visit from one of their classmates’ parents.
K-9 Sgt. Connor Smith, the father of K4 student Miller Smith, visited the class with his K-9 partner, Kelly. Smith spoke with students about his work and the role of K-9 officers in the community.
The visit gave students an opportunity to learn about public safety and the important work of community helpers.
The class thanked Smith and Kelly for visiting and sharing their time with the students.
