The time is now to celebrate and honor the dedication of workers. Labor Day originated during the late 19th century during the Industrial Revolution. Various labor unions fought for fair wages and safe working conditions.
Americans come together to have cookouts with families, watch sports and enjoy one another. Some people participate in different community service projects in order to help those in need. Also, others participate in going to different commercial and local stores to buy needs and wants.
I like Labor Day because I can relax and travel with my family. We chill and catch up with each other. I also take my last dip in the pool until next summer. My most favorite part of Labor Day is curling up on the sofa reading the latest best-selling book at the end of Labor Day.
Remember to thank hard working employees that make a difference in someone’s life.
