Students in the Canton Public School District (CSPD) High School Equivalency Program (HSEP) recently visited Nissan Canton for an educational and career-focused experience.

The visit was designed to help students explore career opportunities in their community and consider their options after earning their high school equivalency credentials.

CPSD’s HSEP emphasizes three pathways for students after graduation: entering the workforce, enrolling in a community college or university, or enlisting in a branch of the U.S. military.

The district encourages students to view graduation as the beginning of their next chapter and to begin planning for their futures through the program’s “Three E’s to Success”: Enter, Enroll and Enlist.

The Nissan visit gave students an opportunity to learn more about local career opportunities and gain firsthand insight into potential pathways in the workforce.
