Canton High School continued its strong season Friday night, picking up a 36-27 victory over Ridgeland.
The Tigers faced a competitive matchup against the Titans but managed to come away with the nine-point win. Canton finished with 36 points offensively, doing enough to overcome a Ridgeland team that kept the game close on the scoreboard.
The victory gives Canton another positive result as the regular season approaches its final weeks. The Tigers have consistently found ways to score throughout the year, and Friday's performance was another example of their offensive production.
While Ridgeland managed 27 points, Canton was able to maintain enough separation to secure the victory.
With the postseason approaching, the Tigers will look to continue building on their success and finish the regular season strong.
