Nichols focuses on suicide prevention

Recently, Nichols Middle School informed their students about the importance of being knowledgeable about suicide prevention. Although it is a sensitive and scary subject, it’s unavoidable as a discussion topic. Students learned about the importance of communication, the dangers of social media and self-esteem. Students and faculty say they were blessed to have a speaker come and encourage their scholars to focus on academics, true friendships and staying actively involved in school.
